AusCalcs is operated independently in Australia. We don't run a sales team and we don't promote financial products — so the only things worth contacting us about are the numbers, and we genuinely want to hear about those.
Found a wrong number? Tell us
This is the most valuable message you can send us. Our entire promise is honest numbers, so a calculator that disagrees with an official source is a bug and we treat it as one. If you can, include:
- The page you were on (the full URL helps).
- The figures you entered and the result you got.
- The result you expected, and the official source that says so — an ATO page, a state revenue office table, a legislative instrument.
We check reported discrepancies against the primary source. If we are wrong, we fix the calculator and update the page's review date. If the calculator is right, we will explain why — often the difference is an assumption we should have made clearer, which is itself worth fixing.
Media and research enquiries
We publish the data behind our research pieces at stable, citable URLs so journalists can check our working rather than take our word for it. If you are writing about Australian tax, property costs or household finances and want the underlying table, a figure checked, or a comment on methodology, get in touch — we respond to media enquiries first.
Partnerships and embedding
Educators, community organisations, financial counsellors and journalists are welcome to embed our calculators or cite our figures with attribution. There is no fee and no agreement to sign. See the terms of use for what attribution requires.
What we don't respond to
We don't reply to unsolicited SEO, link-building or guest-post outreach, offers to buy links or place sponsored content, or requests to add commercial products to our comparison pages. We don't accept payment for placement in any calculator or list — if we did, the numbers wouldn't be honest.
Response times
We aim to respond to genuine enquiries within five business days. Rate corrections are usually actioned faster than that, because a wrong number on a live calculator is the one thing we drop everything for.
Privacy
If you email us, we hold that correspondence in order to reply to you and you can ask us to delete it. Nothing you type into a calculator ever reaches us — see the privacy policy for the detail.
