Suggest a calculator — or tell us what's wrong
This is the shortest route from "why isn't there a calculator for this?" to there being one. Tell us what's missing, what looks wrong, or what you can't find an answer to.
What you can suggest
Anything, really — but these are the ones we act on fastest:
- A calculator we should build. If you've searched for it and come up empty, odds are other people have too.
- A number that looks wrong. A rate, threshold or result that doesn't match what the ATO or your state revenue office says. These jump the queue — a wrong number is the one thing we won't sit on.
- A data set we should dig into. ABS, ATO or state data you'd like turned into something you can actually use.
- A question you can't find an answer to. If the answer doesn't exist in plain English anywhere, that's a gap worth filling.
- Anything else. Broken links, confusing wording, a chart that makes no sense on your phone.
What happens to it
Straight talk: every suggestion enters our ideas pipeline and gets ranked by demand data — search volume, what people already use on the site, what's missing from the market. Liking an idea doesn't build it; the data ranks it. So we can't promise your calculator gets built, but we can promise it gets counted.
The exception is corrections. If you've spotted a wrong number, that goes to the top of the pile and gets checked against the primary source first — usually within days, not months. Honest numbers are the whole point of this site.

Will my suggestion actually get built?
Maybe — honestly, it depends on demand. Every suggestion enters our ideas pipeline and gets ranked against search and usage data. Liking an idea doesn't build it; the data ranks it. The exception is corrections: if you've spotted a wrong number, that jumps the queue and gets checked first.
Do I have to leave my email?
No. The email field is optional and only exists so we can tell you what happened to your suggestion. If you leave it blank, the suggestion still goes into the pipeline — you just won't hear back.
